Underworld 3 – The Rise of The Lycans.  I have waited long for this movie and finally here it is.  Underworld 3 is a prequel to the last movies Underworld 1 and Underworld 2.  The story traces the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires known as Death Dealers and their onetime slaves, the Lycans.

Long ago, in the time of the Dark Ages, a young Lycan better known as Werewolves named Lucian (Sheen) emerges as a powerful leader.  He rallied his fellow werewolves (Lycans) to rise up against Viktor (Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has enslaved them.  Lucian is joined by his secret lover, Sonja (Mitra), in his battle against the Death Dealer army and his struggle for Lycan freedom.

For me, Underworld 3 The Rise of the Lycans is a must watch movie :) This is just my 2 cents. But I haven’t just made this up. I based it on the Underworld 1 and 2 movies.

I’m really looking forward to the new movie coming out next week. I know it’s really a prequel to the other movies, but it’s a different cast and some old favourites too. The poster and photos I’ve seen do look very promising. I hope it isn’t going to dissapoint like so many sequel/prequels do.
