According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Tropical Storm “Basyang” (Conson, international codename) could intensified into a typhoon as it borders on Northern Luzon by early Wednesday.

Tropical Storm Basyang increased its strength and the change its direction, carries uttermost sustained winds between 119 km/h (kph) and 200 kph. They expect Basyang to intensify before it makes a landfall early Wednesday. With the rainfall intensity of Basyang at 15 millimeters, it is possible that it will develop into a typhoon.
Typhoon Storm Basyang is expected to make landfall Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning. And provinces placed under Storm Signal No. 3 were Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Aurora, and northern Quezon including Polilio Island.
While 9 provinces were placed under Storm Signal No. 2 including:
- Camarines Sur
- Southern Quezon
- Laguna
- Rizal
- Bulacan
- Nueva Ecija
- Nueva Vizcaya
- Quirino
- Ifugao
- Isabela.
