Typhoon Pepeng - Typhoon “Ondoy” (Ketsana) took hundreds of lives and thousands of residents have been evacuated their homes. “Ondoy” was the worst storm the country has ever experienced, as it dumped 410 millimeters of rainwaters in Metro Manila during a nine-hour period, that until now some of the area is still in floodwaters. And now that Typhoon “Pepeng” is in the country, What will happened to us?
It is better to be prepared. Kindly prepare bottled water, canned goods, rice, noodles, flashlights, batteries, AM radio. Be sure to charge your cell phones and park your cars somewhere safe and high. Report says, Typhoon Pepeng is now packing winds of 120kph. And it is traversing the same initial path as Typhoon Ondoy.
But hopefully it won’t turn left like Ondoy. There is a possibility that Typhoon Pepeng may become a super typhoon as it is still over the Pacific Ocean. There are 2 more low pressures areas after Pepeng.
With all the preparation, it is still better for us to pray that these typhoons divert away from us.
