Troy Aikman is the latest celebrity to call his marriage quits. Troy Aikman, now a Fox sports analyst is the former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. He married his wife Rhonda in 2000 and news came Tuesday that the couple are calling it quits. But things are actually over between them months ago.
Speculation about a split arose when Rhonda did not come with Troy to the annual Aikman party. And when she purchased a house in North Dallas back in November. Troy and Rhonda have two daughters together and one from Rhonda’s previous marriage. There’s no further details on what caused the divorce, but Troy Aikman issued a brief statement:
“This has been a difficult decision for Rhonda and me, but after 10 years of marriage we have decided to separate. We remain deeply committed to our children.”
Troy Aikman is set to be part of the team that broadcasts Super Bowl XLV from Cowboys Stadium on Feb. 6.
