The Talk hits New York City

After a number of staff changes and a year on CBS, it’s finally here “The Talk” is taking a short break from its Los Angeles home and spending a week in New York.




The show will be aired live daily at 2 p.m. from the Grand Foyer of the Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center.

According to Julie Chen the move has re inspired and energized all those who work with the program. She further goes on to say “To have a little road trip kind of puts a little bounce in our step. And most shows like ours, when they take the show on the road they go to Orlando or Las Vegas.”

The talk first aired back in October 2010 and the group of five women who host the show talk about politics, current events and of course life.

Sara Gilbert is executive producer plus she is one of the panellists.

Gilbert says that she though of the program after having her second child when she was feeling isolated at home.

In addition to Chen and Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne Aisha, Tyler and Sheryl Underwood are also featured on the show. Underwood and Tyler are replacements for Holly Robinson, Leah Remini who exited the show before the start of the second season.

According to Chen the five ladies are gellingwell and she makes reference to a conversation that happened earlier when Osbourne said that Ozzy told her just how great their show was.
