CMA Entertainer of the Year 2009 – Congratulations to Taylor Swift by becoming the youngest CMA Entertainer of the Year. Not only that, she is also a winner in four other categories. Taylor Swift is also one of the very few solo females to have won the Entertainer of the year title.
The CMA Awards 2009 was hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. The memorable night also highlight other artist who bagged different awards. Like Darius Rucker, he bagged the award for best new talent. Lady Antebellum, “I run to you” received the best single of the year, and the group also remained victorious in the “Vocal Group of the Year” category.
Taylor Swift, the biggest star of the night swept the biggest categories. The 19-year-old will never forget this moment, cried as she accepted the prize as CMA Entertainer of the Year 2009.
“I will never forget this moment,” a very emotional Taylor said, “because in this moment, everything I ever wanted has just happened to me.” Inviting her entire band to join her on stage, she tearfully continued, “Thank you for this moment. Thank you. Every single person in that category let me open up for them … thank you. I love you all.”
