Snooki Sentenced To Community Service

Snooki Polizzi - MTV reality star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of Jersey Shore has been ordered to complete two days of community service after pleading guilty to annoying others on the beach following an arrest in July.

The judge in New Jersey sentenced Snooki to two days of community service with animal control as well as a $500 fine after the reality star agreed to plead guilty to “interfering with the enjoyment of the quiet use of the beach or public boardwalk.” She was arrested in July for disorderly conduct and being a public nuisance.

Polizzi, who shot to fame on “Jersey Shore,” was arrested in sunny Seaside Heights, N.J., on suspicion of disorderly conduct and creating a public nuisance. She was taken into custody after allegedly drinking alcohol in public, while filming the hit series’ third season. The 22-year-old was released hours later.

The prosecution asked the court to limit her community service to two days and for her work to be in Seaside Heights. Judge Damian Murray agreed to the request but still had some harsh words for the reality star, he said,

“You seem to be acting like a Lindsay Lohan wannabe. This is not the way you want to live your life.”
