How true that Sharon Cuneta is leaving ABS-CBN? Funfare Update sources have confirmed that the deal is sealed. After the Megastar is noticeably missing on ABS-CBN’s Christmas Station ID 2011, rumors that she’s transferring and will sign a contract with TV5 simply confirmed the news. However, nobody from both Kapamilya and Kapatid station would confirm nor deny the report.

According to sources, Megastar Sharon Cuneta is leaving ABS-CBN, her home for the past 24 years and is moving to TV5 effective early next year. The singer-actress reign a one billion pesos deal!!! with the network for a package that includes a talk show like the Oprah Winfrey show and it is the biggest deal so far with the Kapatid network. It was Sharon’s manager, Boss Vic del Rosario Jr. of the Viva Group of Companies, who negotiated with TV5.

For the past weeks, numerous blogs, showbiz and social networking sites, and several broadsheets and tabloids are writing about their speculations of the Sharon Cuneta Leaving ABS CBN rumors. But she kept mum about it even if there were tell-tale signs, including her non-inclusion in the Kapamilya Christmas Season station ID. Sharon’s farewell show for ABS-CBN is Sharon At Home which she shot early this month and will be aired on the network’s sister station Lifestyle Network.
