Rapper Dolla shot and killed at Beverly Center in Los Angeles, after a fight between a group of individuals broke out.

On the afternoon of May 18, Roderick Anthony Burton II, also known as Dolla was fatally shot in the head about 3:10 p.m. near La Cienega Boulevard entrance of Beverly Center in L.A. Police later arrested a male suspect at Los Angeles International Airport as he attempted to board a flight. But some witnesses report that a woman seen firing a handgun. Further details about the shooting were not yet available.

The 21-year-old RapperDolla, who was based in Atlanta, Georgia, was in L.A. recording his debut album. When the 12-year-old Dolla was performing with friends at showcases around Atlanta, he caught the attention of multiplatinium R&B singer Akon. The two collaborated on Dolla’s first Single ” Who the F%#& is That?” and “Feelin’ Myself” appeared on the soundtrack to the 2006 movie “Step Up”.
