When Royalty meets reality in an adventure comedy that tells the story of no-nonsense country girl Carter Mason and Rosalinda Marie Montoya Fiore, the teen princess of the fictitious paradise of Costa Luna. The two are thrown together after Carter’s father, an agent in the covert international Princess Protection Program (PPP), rescues Rosalinda from an attempted coup by a neighboring dictator. Tomboy Carter helps Rosie pose as a visiting cousin and, to return the favor, Rosie nominates Carter for Homecoming Queen. Although they’re polar opposites, Carter and Rosie must also find a way to foil the Costa Luna plot, not to mention the plans of a pair of jealous classmates.
