It is indeed a very sad episode. Kakashi dies in this episode where he shared the same faith with his sensei Jiraiya who was also defeated by Pain.

in that video kakashi died but that’s not the real show aired in japan… the preview of ep 144 is at the end of ep 143 which you’ve already posted… i have to admit that’s a pretty awesome video for it to be fan made but it’s kinda obvious that it’s not created by the same people that create the real naruto shippuden show. and since when have they ever created a preview for another episode that was five minutes long… NEVER.

If the creators of Naruto Shippuuden decided that episode 144 will be a filler, we will need to accept that and wait for the next episode where they will continue the story plot Sorry about this guys. But cheer up! all fillers of Naruto Shippuuden are not that bad…

The very fact that you actually thought it was the real
deal shows just how good he is at imitating Naruto animation.

Naruto Shippuden 144 is just a filler. Maybe the fight between Kakashi and Pain will not be available for 5 more episode. But who knows, we might get surprised. For now, lets just wait for some good episodes to come.
