I think it has something to do with the power of Itachi’s eyes. As you can see in the picture above, Sasuke is being held and rendered motionless by Itachi. Uchiha Madara is also in the scene where he is trying to get Sasuke’s eye. A short Briefing of the previous episode prior to Naruto Shippuden 137
In the previous episode of Naruto Shippuuden, Sasuke has finally met face to face with his brother. The fight between the two immediately started. And to tell you honestly, I got a little confuse thinking that they have already defeated one another when in fact it was only genjutsu. Sasuke and Itachi are sizing each other up by fighting through their minds and sharingan. I am sure that they will give us a great action in Naruto Shippuden 137. Some part of the previous episode showed the past events of the Uchiha Clan where Itachi eliminated all of his people including his parents and just leaving Sasuke. Well naruto fans, the previous episode or should I say episodes for last week we were presented with two episode. There are lots of important events and I personally recommend that you watch those 3 videos for you to fully understand the current plot of the story.

This will be great! I’ve heard from my friends that Itachi is a good guy and on the side of Konoha. This only proves them wrong. Look at what he is doing with his little brother Sasuke. He even let Uchiha Madara try to poke his brother’s eyes.
Nope.your wrong.if you read the manga,you would have figured out a long time ago that Itachi was on the side of konoha,and he spared his little brother because he loved him to much
I have not read the manga but based on what I have watched the the previous two episodes, Itachi only wants more power that’s why he spared his little brother so that when the time comes, he would be able to use him as a vessel for his eternal mangekyo sharingan.
Some said that Itachi was really a spy of Konoha. I kinda believe this stuff because based on the fact that he wanted to get the eyes of Sasuke for what? Sasuke has not yet achieved his mangekyo sharingan. Maybe Itachi wanted to take Sasuke’s eyes so that he could give his eyes to him and therefor sasuke would have mangekyo sharingan without killing his best friend naruto. Ha ha ha, I know! I am confused too with my own perceptions. Anyway, all of these will be cleared up soon in Naruto Shippuuden 137. I can’t wait to watch this video.
You guys should really stop posting spoikers. Anyways, I read the manga already and I can’t wait to actually see the fight in the anime. 
Well….If you read the manga, your friends are correct. You’ll get the idea when you read the manga…there’s a WHOLE storyline behind Itachi’s life.

ITACHI KILLED HIS FAMILY, ORDERS FROM KONOHA TO PREVENT A WAR! THE UCHIA CLAN WAS GONNA TRY TO TAKE OVER KONOHA SO ITACHI HAD TO STOP THEM AND KILLING THEM WAS THE ONLY WAY HHE!
