The story of naruto shippuden 114 continues the fight between Orochimaru and Sasuke. We have seen from the previous episode where Orochimaru is suffering due to the limitation of his current body. Kabuto also narrated in the previous episode that Sasuke have matured enough since the Chunin Exam in the Forest of Death three years ago where Sasuke who is only a Genin during that time faced orochimaru for the first time and where he fears the menacing air that Orochimaru’s presence brings. Orochimaru has already been interested at Sasuke even at his very young age because of Sasuke’s fine looks and because Sasuke was able to use Sharingan even at his young age. Orochimaru also mentioned that Sasuke can become a fine gem with proper training even surpassing his all powerfull older brother Itachi. Orochimaru also knew about the burden that Sasuke carries when his parents were killed by his own brother. This convinced Orochimaru that Sasuke is a perfect prospect for his future reanimation so he decided to gave him the curse mark to ensure that Sasuke will come to Orochimaru seeking for more power. This is the very reason why Orochimaru watched over the Chunin Exam to see what will be the reactions of Sasuke during the trials of the examination. Orochimaru also wanted to see Sasuke use the power of the curse mark when his chakra was completely drained up by Yoroi’s power. And just when the cursed power started to ooze from the bite marks, Sasuke’s will to bursed off the effects of the cursed mark gave him the power to control it. This puts even more interest and curiosity on Orochimaru where he allowed Sasuke to continue with the Chunin Exam. Orochimaru believed that there is no one who can train Sasuke better than he can who is the only one who can understand the darkness inside Sasuke’s heart. This convinced Orochimaru that there is no need for Sasuke to stay with the Hidden Leaf Ninja. This gave Kabuto the thought that the plan of Orochimaru to destroy the Hidden Leaf was just an after thought from Orochimaru’s plans of taking Sasuke’s body for his own. Kabuto the began to prepare the next sets of medicines so that Orochimaru can go through the reanimation jutsu in perfect condition.
We were also given a glimpse of how the third hokage of the hidden leaf gave Orochimaru a punishment for being intoxicated by more power and jutsu. The third Hokage have taken all of Orochimaru’s jutsu which postponed the time of Orochimaru’s reanimation. But Orochimaru believes that the time has already come for his preparation and the unexpected accident is now nothing but a trivial price to pay for Sasuke’s body will soon be his.
naruto shippuden 114 – Meanwhile, back to the hidden leaf village, Tsunade was furious because there has been no report from the group of Anbu she sent to monitor the area where the 3 tailed beast resides. She thinks that eventhough they got rid of Orochimaru’s men, the presence of the three tailed beast is still a huge threat. She immediately ordered another squad to be sent and to make it a highest priority. Going back to Orochimaru and Kabuto, it is inevitable for Orochimaru to think that everything he does is to clear away everything that stands in his way to achieve his goal which is to eliminate Sasuke’s brother Itachi. Orochimaru began to spit blood from coughing which alarmed Kabuto. Orochimaru’s body will soon reach its full limit if he does not administer a level 10 medicine immediately. Kabuto went outside to prepare for the medicines. While walking, Kabuto reminises the accomplishments of Orochimaru, one where he defeated the Hokage and when he is just one step away from destroying the hidden leaf village. Another is when he fought with his fellow legendary Sannin, Tsunade and Jiraiya at the same time where he never looked so menacing until now. Kabuto fears of how Orochimaru have grown so much in terms of his ambition. And if everything goes according to their plans, the whole continent will bow down before Orochimaru after he has obtained Sasuke’s body.
naruto shippuden 114 – Meanwhile, Sasuke still trains hard thinking of getting revenge to his brother who killed their parents. A report was also given to Tsunade that the Anbu stationed to monitor the forest has been missing along with the three tailed beast and they wonder who could be behind all of this. Tsunade immediately thought of the Akatsuki. Orochimaru is suffering from great pain but he thinks that it is nothing compared to the greatness he is about to achieve once he is able to obtain Sasuke’s body through his reanimation. And while he is waiting for Kabuto, a fierce sharp chakra pierced through the door all the way to his hands. He has not seen the change in that chakra before and began to ask who it is behind the door. The person began to slice up the door and it was no other that Sasuke. Orochimaru told Sasuke that he came just as he expects him. Sasuke told Orochimaru that he has nothing to learn from him anymore and he thinks that even before Orochimaru, he can become heartless just as what Orochimaru have been emphasizing with him in the past during his training. Sasuke even told Orochimaru that he is weaker than him and there is already no need for him to give his body to Orochimaru. Orochimaru told Sasuke that he has some nerve when he is still an Uchiha Fledgling. Sasuke revealed that all this time, he already knew that Orochimaru have been eyeing on him since the Chunin Exams because Orochimaru wanted to gain the power of Sharingan. This is the very reason why Orochimaru gave him the dibs or the mark of the cursed power. Sasuke also revealed that he really wanted to gain power to get revenge to his brother Itachi and it was the very reason why he agreed to follow Orochimaru in exchange for his body and freedom just to achieve his goal. Sasuke also knew that Orochimaru wanted to achieve Sharingan so badly that he first went after Itachi but failed and so he got up with Sasuke, a fledgling of the Uchiha clan. Sasuke also revealed that he does not like the way Orochimaru does things where he drowned himself on drugs to attain power and doing continuous experiments on humans. Sasuke then started to attack Orochimaru but just when he was about to finish him off, something shoot out of Orochimaru’s mouth. When sasuke looked behind him, there is this huge snake with white scales. This is the true form or Orochimaru. Now, it is clear to sasuke that the experiment being conducted so that Orochimaru can move from one body to another. The fight started when Orochimaru started to attack Sasuke. I think that it is one of the great episodes that I’ve watched in Naruto Shippuden. The previous episode left us all hanging on the question who will win the fight between Sasuke and Orochimaru. In naruto shippuden 114, we will finally get the answer. In the upcoming episode, Sasuke will demonstrate his newly found power where he can litterally transform himself into a human eagle design to defeat a human snake like orochimaru.
