Mega Millions a Whopping $206 Million Dollars
Christmas may have arrived a little late, but some lucky winner is will be smiling after scoring this Jackpot. The prize money for the Tuesday mega million draw has risen to a whopping $206 million after no one managed to claim the prize last week.
Players have been unable to grab the top prize for the 43 state lottery since November .1 after Charles Hairston of Paso Robles had taken the Jackpot of $78 million dollars. I f someone does manage to claim the Jackpot the cash option will be 151.9 million.
According to Judith Drucker spokeswoman for the New Jersey Lottery high-rolling jackpots are triggers “across all the gameboards,” she further said that the $206 million dollar prize does not have to be claimed by a holiday ticket purchase. There are spikes in the Jackpot all year round and also in all lottery drawings.
“What happens is that when the jackpots don’t get hit, people get excited because the numbers start growing exponentially for the jackpot.”
The drawing on Friday did mange to have 31 tickets that matched all five numbers three of these tickets were from New Jersey.
