Players have been unable to grab the top prize for the 43 state lottery since November .1 after Charles Hairston of Paso Robles had taken the Jackpot of $78 million dollars. I f someone does manage to claim the Jackpot the cash option will be 151.9 million.
According to Judith Drucker spokeswoman for the New Jersey Lottery high-rolling jackpots are triggers “across all the gameboards,” she further said that the $206 million dollar prize does not have to be claimed by a holiday ticket purchase. There are spikes in the Jackpot all year round and also in all lottery drawings.
“What happens is that when the jackpots don’t get hit, people get excited because the numbers start growing exponentially for the jackpot.”
