Martin and Pops Concert – Missing You

Martin and Pops concert entitled Missing You is still scheduled this February 06, 2009 starting at 8 PM despite of the incident that happened during Martin and Pops’s Interview a few weeks ago. If you can remember,  Martin Nieverra broke down and cried while they are being interviewed.  Martin showed the public that he still has feelings for her former wife Pops Fernandez.   Jomari Yllana, the producer of the concert which happened to be Pops Fernandez current boy friend perfectly understood Martin’s feelings.  A gentle man of his words,  the producer has still made the concert a reality.

Numerous fans of Martin and Pops are waiting for this moment where the former husband and wife known to be the concert King and Queen will perform again together.  So mark your calendars guys,  I’m sure this will be a moment to remember.

Missing You is the title of the concert.

Updates from the Martin and Pops 2009 Concert entitled Missing You

The concert started before 9 PM in the evening. The much anticipated reunion concert of the former husband and wife concert king and queen started by showing their previous moments together. These includes some clips from the movies they both starred in, some shows like Penthouse Live and past concerts where they both performed. The fans were touched by Martin and Pops happy past as you can see the mixture of happiness and sorrow in their faces.

We miss you did you miss us? These were the first words that Pops uttered. It was then followed by a Love Song Medley singing the songs Love The One You’re With, If I Were a Boy and some love songs from the late 70′s. During this point, the crowed are silent just listening to songs that they sing.

One thing noticeable with Pops is here tight fitted sexy shorts and the insignia “Single is Sexy” which came from a bench slogan while singing some of the songs of Beyonce and Rihanna.

They also did a Sex Medley songs which they both portrayed very well by their singing and interpretation. Martin also said in a joke but I think it was half meant that if Him and Pops were just alone that night away from the crowd, who knows what his temptations might be. After their performance, Martin asked Pops if she has the same temptation and Pops answered laughing that if she had that kind of temptation the She wouldn’t tell anybody. Then a picture of Jomari Yllana the current boy friend of Pops was shown in the back ground screen with an angry face. This made the fans laughing and shouting.

It was also noticeable that both rival networks GMA 7 and ABS-CBN were thanked by the concert king and queen as being their sponsors. Fans from both networks were united that night and forgot whatever feud they have for one another :)

Then the big screen showed the pictures and some video clips of their family. Things like when they first had their baby Robin and the things they shared together as family. The crowd were clapping their hands very loud while watching the scenes and some couldn’t help to wipe their teary eyes.

Martin asked the fans if they wanted Martin to sing one of his songs. One of the crowd screamed Sana Maulit Muli which is not one of Martin Nievera’s songs but of his rival and friend Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano. Martin requested Gary Valenciano if he could sing the song for them and Gary willingly went on stage and sang it. The fans are all shouting and screaming because of the theme of the song that perfectly fits the current situation of Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez.

The concert was a success and many fans of Martin and Pops were happy with the results. The bond hat Martin and Pops shares with one another is absolutely amazing. Even if they both have their separate lives now, you can still see their Love and Care for one another. Personally, I see that Martin is still madly in love with his former wife Pops Fernandez. At present, both the concert king and the concert queen will have to go on their own lives and only time can tell if someday they will be together again.

After producing a successful concert of Martin and Pops, Jomari Yllana confirmed last Tuesday on a Showbiz talk show that, he and Pops are formally over to their 3-year relationship.

He confirmed that he and his former girlfriend’s last conversation was two weeks ago.
The actor apparently said to an interview, that he and Pops never had a fight— they argue and reconcile after. But, this time it’s different, they both decided to end their relationship.

He was asked if a third party was involved, he supposedly replied: “No third party involved.”

And when asked, if lack of time for each other took charge in their relationship, the actor reportedly replied in affirmative.

Also, Yllana purportedly cited “irreconcilable differences” as one of the reasons they fought a lot, and this time, they are both decided to separate ways.
