The Lotec Sirius is made in Germany launched by former Group C2 championship race winner Kurt Lotterschmid. Its engine is powered by a twin-turbocharged Mercedes Benz 6.0L V12. With a whooping 850hp (635kW) up to 1,200hp (895kW). Despite of delays with the production of the original Sirius, Lotec has released his new designs which they plan to produce and release this 2009. One feature of the new design that was taken from the original one is the carbon fiber over tubular steel frame construction. With this feature, the Sirius 2009 will weigh around 1,400 kg. That’s a lot lighter despite of the numerous accessories and other features loaded in the car. Lotec claimed that its super car is capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in just 3.8 seconds, pass 120mph in 7.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 242mph.
