Lady Gaga, most followed person on Twitter surpassing Britney Spears

People around the world are going gaga to follow their idol Lady Gaga on Twitter that makes her the most followed person in in the social networking site and proves that she is the new queen of the social media site. Last Friday afternoon, Gaga got 5,670,779 followers, narrowly surpassing Britney’s 5,668,825 followers making Brit only second. According to Famecount.com, Ashton Kutcher comes in third place with 5,542,023, The Ellen DeGeneres Show ranks fourth with 5,053,073, and US President Barack Obama takes the fifth position with 5,003,469.

Lady Gaga is not only topping Twitters count of followers, during the first week of July; Lady Gaga surpassed US President Barack Obama as the living person with the most Facebook fans with 10 million supporters that has increased to 16 million in just two weeks time. It only shows that the Paparazzi singer was deemed the biggest name on the top social networking sites.

Being the most followed person on Twitter and having the most Facebook fans proves that despite her out of this world character people around the world would still want to hear from her, that a lot are still going gaga over Lady Gaga.
