Katharine McPhee was among the stars who joined the 83rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. The 2009 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year is Katharine McPhee, performed live on the Jimmy Dean float, and sang her new single “Had It All” from her upcoming album “Unbroken”.

Aside from Katharine McPhee, Andrea Bocelli, Boys Like Girls, Alan Cumming, Billy Currington, Jimmy Fallon, The Roots, Gloria Gaynor, Emily Hughes, Ziggy Marley with Judah Marley also performed for the 2009 Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

The 2009 Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, its 83rd year and for the first time, the parade bypassed the historic Broadway route. And dominated as usual, the sky of New York City with larger than life balloon taken from comic book heroes and cartoon characters. Meanwhile on the ground, turkey, pumpkin pie, marching bands and beauty queen lining on the thanksgiving parade route.

Meanwhile, Katharine McPhee is headed for a much-needed break, saying, “I hope to get some rest and a bit of quiet time with my family. I don’t want to do anything too crazy, but we may plan a quick ski trip.”

Katharine McPhee added, “It’s a cuckoo time in my life with my new record coming out on January 5th. I’m traveling so much and I can’t fully relax because I have band rehearsals. It’s that time leading up to the first week of record release – totally crazy and exciting. I am planning on performing in L.A. and then also doing some shows in New York.”

Oh well… she’s not really that busy
