1) The promoter of this contest is The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia) Pte. Limited (“Disney”).

2) Disney Channel’s “Jonas and I” Contest is open to all Disney Channel subscribers in Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei, Cambodia, Palau, Papua New Guinea and Hong Kong (the “Territories”).

3) The contest is open to children seven (7) to seventeen (17) years of age. Directors, officers and employees of Disney or its affiliated companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, associated vendors and immediate families of each of such persons are not eligible to enter the contest. Directors, officers and employees of Disney or its affiliated companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, associated vendors and immediate families of each of such persons are not eligible to enter the contest.

4) Multiple entries per entrant are allowed, but only one Prize may be awarded to each entrant.

5) All entrants must obtain permission from a parent or a legal guardian (aged 21 or above) before entering this contest and provide all requested identification details (including without limitation, complete name, complete address, age, Disney Channel subscription details and phone number) at the time of entry. Disney reserves the right to invalidate entries or the Prize winner(s) if the appropriate authorization is or was not provided. It is also a condition of entry that an entrant and his/her parent/legal guardian both have a valid passport and United Kingdom visa that are good for travel to the United Kingdom throughout November 2009. Disney reserves the right to invalidate entries or the winner if the appropriate authorization from the parent/legal guardian is or was not provided or the entrants do not have a valid passport and United Kingdom visa.

6) Entrants are required to watch the premiere of “JONAS” (“Programme”) on 9 August 2009 at 5.30pm (Singapore/Malaysia time) and answer two questions which will appear during the Programme. Entrants will then need to log onto http://www.disneychannel-asia.com (“the Website”) (in accordance with Paragraph 7 below) and answer the contest questions in order to submit their entries to the contest. Disney will award the Prizes set out in Paragraph 10 below to:

a. (Grand Prize) the first eligible entrant/winner who provides the correct answers to the contest questions;

b. (Consolation Prize) the next fifty (50) entrants who provide the correct answers to the contest questions.

7) Entries will be accepted by Disney for all Territories via the Website from 9 August 5:30 pm to 10 August 2009 only. All entries for the contest must be received by Disney no later than 11.59 p.m. on 10 August 2009 (Singapore/Malaysia/Philippines time) to be eligible for entry into the contest. Entry by any person will be taken as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Disney shall not be responsible for the inability of any entrant to submit an answer within the specified time, whether due to technical malfunctions, disconnections of any nature or other circumstances beyond Disney’s reasonable control.

9) The selected winners will be notified by mail or phone call as Disney deems fit.

10) The “Prize(s)” consist of both the Grand Prize and the Consolation Prize as set out and defined below:

“Grand Prize”:

1. Economy class air travel for the winner and one accompanying parent/legal guardian from the winner’s home country to the United Kingdom (between 20 November – 22 November 2009).

2. Hotel accommodation for the winner and his/her parent/legal guardian in London for three (3) days, two (2) nights (subject to itinerary and flight schedule).

3. Travel insurance for the winner and his/her parent/legal guardian covering three (3) days and two (2) nights of travel.

4. Return private transfers from Heathrow Airport to the hotel.

5. Two (2) tickets to the Jonas Brothers Live concert at Wembley Arena, London on 21 November 2009 (subject to availability).

6. A travel and expense allowance of sixty (60) pounds per day, to be paid (in advance of departure) and shared between the winner and his/her parent/legal guardian for a total of three (3) days (i.e. one hundred and eighty (180) pounds in total).

“Consolation Prize”:

7. Each of the next fifty (50) correct and eligible entries will be awarded a JONAS Bag and Jonas Brothers Mouse Pad.

All expenses not specifically provided for above are the sole responsibility of each winner and/or his/her parent/legal guardian. All taxes associated with the receipt or use of any part of the Prizes shall be the sole responsibility of each winner and/or his/her parent/legal guardian.

11) The Prizes shall be arranged by Disney and organized in cooperation with each selected winner.

12) The Grand Prize winner must be accompanied by one parent/legal guardian aged 21 or above for the entire duration of the trip. Award of the Grand Prize is conditional upon the winner and his/her parent/legal guardian agreeing to and signing the appropriate release forms and/or agreements and/or any additional documentation required by Disney. Failure to timely complete, sign and return any such documentation will result in disqualification of the entry and the entrant, and forfeiture of the Grand Prize. No correspondence and/or objection will be entertained.

13) The Grand Prize winner and his/her accompanying parent/legal guardian must have passports and a United Kingdom visa valid for six months or more from the travelling date. The release of the Grand Prize to the winner is subject to both the winner and his/her accompanying parent/legal guardian having valid visas to the United Kingdom as are necessary for all travel to be undertaken pursuant to the award of the Grand Prize. The winner and his/her parent/legal guardian are both obligated to show proof of a valid United Kingdom visa application to Disney (if required). All visa application costs will be borne by the winner and his/her parent/legal guardian.

14) The Prizes must be claimed no later than the time limit specified by Disney. In the event of the winner not being able to take up the Prizes as detailed, Disney reserves the right to select an alternative Prize winner. Disney’s decision is final and no correspondence and/or objection will be entertained.

15) The Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available for the Prizes. In the unlikely event that any component of the Prizes should become unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, Disney reserves the right to substitute a prize item of equal monetary value as determined by Disney in its sole discretion.

16) Each winner and his/her accompanying parent/legal guardian (if applicable) (the “Participants”) take full responsibility for any and all liability, claims, demands or causes of action that the Participants may hereafter have for injuries or damages arising out of any part of the Prizes or, in the case of the Grand Prize winner, their participation in the trip. The Participants agree that NONE OF THEM WILL SUE OR MAKE CLAIM against Disney for damages or other losses sustained as a result of any injury, or death, sustained from acceptance of the Prizes and, in respect of the Grand Prize, the Participants’ participation in the trip. The Participants hereby expressly recognize that this release of liability, waiver of legal rights, and assumption of risk is a contract pursuant to which the Participants have released, and released on behalf of any Participant under the age of 21, any and all claims against Disney resulting from any injury, or death, sustained from acceptance of the Prizes and, in respect of the Grand Prize, the Participants’ participation in the trip, including without limitation any claims for negligence of Disney.

17) Personal information of entrants will be collected to enable Disney to administer and promote the contest and contact winner(s) of the Prizes, and may be provided to others assisting Disney in this regard, including without limitation sponsors of the contest, Prize suppliers and deliverers, and authorities that regulate the contest (if applicable). If an entrant does not truthfully provide all requested personal information, Disney may solely determine that such entrant shall not be eligible to take part in any way in the contest or win any Prize (if applicable).

18) Disney and its affiliated companies and agents will not be responsible or liable for:

a. any problem, loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by any party due to any delay and/or failure (including lost entries, mail delay or loss) in receiving and submitting the entries as a result of any communication error, interruption, human error and/or failure by Disney and/or any third party. In the event of such error, interruption and/or failure, Disney shall not be responsible or liable for any failure by any entrants to participate in the contest at any time;

b. any problem, damage or loss of whatsoever nature to any entrant, or their authorized representatives resulting from their participation in the contest;

c. any error (including error in notification of winners), omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of, or unauthorized access to entries, or entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission; and

d. any changes made by Disney or any third party supplier, or the organizer, administrator or sponsors of the contest.

19) Disney reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that it determines is tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest, engaging in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Disney, the contest or any other entrant, acting in breach or potential breach of these Terms and Conditions and/or Disney’s website use and access agreement, or is otherwise ineligible to enter or participate in the contest. No correspondence shall be entertained.

20) Disney further reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend or delay the contest in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

21) Disney may assign all rights granted by entrants hereunder to any party at Disney’s sole discretion.

22) Disney reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice and entrants shall be bound by such changes.

23) The contest and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to the conflict of laws provisions therein. By participating in the contest, entrants and his/her accompanying parent/legal guardian irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for the purpose of resolving any dispute, disagreement, difference, controversy or claim of any kind whatsoever arising under, out of, relating to or in connection with this contest or these Terms and Conditions.

24) These Terms and Conditions are not intended to confer rights on any third party, whether pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) or otherwise, and no third party shall have any right to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions.
