It is on Thanksgiving Day morning that Drena George learned the good news of winning the lottery. Just in time for the holiday celebration. The couple said that they will never forget this “Thanksgiving Day” in their lives.

“When I went to wake Albert up, he thought I had dropped the turkey and needed help,” Drena said.

The sad thing is that Albert’s father died last Monday and had never neither learns nor experience of knowing the good news of winning the Hoosier Lotto. Albert said that his father is looking on them and maybe asking why it didn’t happen while he’s still living.
