Geisy Arruda - Geisy Arruda photo above has been expelled for wearing a mini-skirt? Geisy Arruda, the Brazalian student went to YouTube fame in Brazil in late October. She is a beautiful 20-year-old student at the private university of La Universidad Bandeirante, located in the Sao Bernardo do Ocampo, a wealthy section of Sao Paulo.
Short dresses and mini-skirt maybe thought by others as fashion and modernity but some educational institutes have their own rules and regulations, traditions and attitudes.
On October 22 at 8:30 pm, Geisy Arruda went to the school restroom with friend Kelly Andrezzil. There, 20 girls went at Geisy and started cursing her, calling her ugly names and accusing her of drawing too much attention, threatening to beat her up, and the worse, male students started to break into the female restroom and trying to put cell phones between Geisy’s legs.
At this point, the situation became serious with allegations of threats of assault. When security were able to assist Arruda out of the restroom, male students started to take camera cellphone photos and record videos, that would eventually get uploaded to YouTube.
In the end Geisy Arruda had to put on the teacher’s white jacket and be escorted out. Thereafter the school published a note in the São Paulo daily newspapers (that by some accounts is described as an “advertisement”). It read “Educational Responsibility – Education is made with attitude not complacency” and found that Geisy Arruda’s conduct had “resulted in a collective reaction in defense of the school environment.”
Sunday, November 8, University decided to expel Geisy Arruda from the University. According to University officials, she was responsible for all that happened on the campus.
But when Brazilian tourism student Geisy Arruda has been expelled from the University, Brazil’s federal government has now been involved in the case. Minister Freire condemned the University for expelling the young student and stated that this action shows “downright prejudice and unfairness towards female students. The Ministry of Education has also declared that university decision is not reasonable and university has to face a legal process for that.

I am Brazilian, I already saw Valéria Valenssa completely nude in the middle of the carnival, nobody leaned in her or called her of prostitute, I already saw girls with summary bikinis in the street of the Alfandega promoting store of sale of carnival products. And nobody upset them. why reason 700 people that are not children rioted with that girl’s attitude? was said that she provoked the boys. I went to the university in the period of the dictatorship and I saw the students’ revolt because of political point of view, and I affirm that in spite of not sympathizing with the actions of hostilities against them, they were them that gave reasons if exposing in a purposeful way. I believe that it was what happened with that girl, there is report that before the incident she landed for pictures. Tthere was excess of both parts
