We have all heard about the Shroud of Turin so it finally seems as though it authenticity has been proven by scientists.

Italian scientists have thus far managed to refute the popular notion that the shroud was a fake that was made in medieval times.
Experts from the Italian National Agency of New technologies Energy and Sustainability Development has in a report concluded that the shroud (the speculated burial cloth of Jesus Christ is not fake)
Based on reports from a Vatican Insider the project by the La Stampa new Paper which pays close attention to the Catholic Church, say “The double image (front and back) of a scourged and crucified man, barely visible on the linen cloth of the Shroud of Turin has many physical and chemical characteristics that are so particular that the staining which is identical in all its facets, would be impossible to obtain today in a laboratory … This inability to repeat (and therefore falsify) the image on the Shroud makes it impossible to formulate a reliable hypothesis on how the impression was made.”
The Shroud has been estimated to be several centuries old and it has an impression on both sides of a human body plus dirt, water stains and blood which comes from the age it was created.
Many sceptics have questioned its authenticity since its discovery and many others have said that it’s a fake that was created during the middle ages.
Researches have carried out many tests using ultraviolet and X-rays, they have gone on to report that there are no lasers to date that is capable of making a replication of the singular nature of the image found on the shroud. They have also said that the type of marking on the cloth could not have been created even if the body had come into direct contact with the linen.
Earlier investigations have disproved the notion that the image was created using pigments and dyes.
Scientists have said that such an image could only have been created with a short and intense burst of VUV directional radiation.
This technology did not exist during the time in which sceptics claim the shroud was created.
Scientists have yet to offer an explanation as to how the image on the shroud was created, however believers have long held that the shroud was marked miraculously as Jesus rose from the dead after he was crucified.
