Eric Wrinkles – Sentenced to life for murdering his estranged wife, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eric Wrinkles on Oprah Show has one last chance to talk to his nieces and nephew, who were home at the time of the crime.
Eric Wrinkles, a father of two, was in the middle of a nasty divorce and custody battle when his estranged wife, Debbie, went to live with her brother and his family. On July 21, 1994, Eric broke into his brother-in-law’s home at 2 a.m. wearing camouflage and armed with a .357-caliber Magnum. In a rage, he shot and killed Debbie, her brother Tony and his wife, Natalie. Four children were home at the time of the crime.
In 1995, Eric Wrinkles was sentenced to death for the brutal murders. His final appeal was denied in May 2009. The 49-year-old has exhausted his state and federal appeals but can still seek clemency from Gov. Mitch Daniels.
Matthew Eric Wrinkles’ nieces and nephew said on an episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” that aired Tuesday that they forgave him and didn’t want him to die.
Eric Wrinkles on Oprah show, relatives were skeptical when he said the killings wouldn’t have happened except for his methamphetamine addiction. Eric Wrinkles scheduled to be executed Dec. 11 at the Indiana State Prison in Michigan City.

I watched oprah’s program, and felt really sorry that there will be another death in their family. Three isn’t enough? I think his life should be spared. Only God has this right, he is already paying for what he did. He took away his life. Staying in prision, and under phycological treatment will do him better. it was a passional crime.
Please spare his life. There is nothing to be gained if he is put to death. The living family members will have many unanswered questions if Eric is gone. Eric is sorry and his family should be allowed to question him for details. If you take Eric away, the family will suffer with the unknown.
Eric was under the influence of drugs which makes a person do things that they otherwise would find horrific. This man is not a serial killer or a rapist. He was under the influence of drugs.
Please spare his life in the name of humanity.
