“Sometimes, simple things come with great meanings.”  19-year-old Jonathan Mak posted the image, the Apple logo with the bite changed to a profile of Steve Jobs, to his Tumblr blog. He initially received about 80 notes on the image. Then word came this past Wednesday that Steve Jobs had died, after a long battle with cancer.

Mak reposted the homage, which this time caught fire on the Web, attracting an almost immediate response of 10,000 likes and reblogs on his Tumblr site and surging to 180,000 — in one day.

Company Statement: ‘The World Has Lost An Amazing Human Being’ When Steve Jobs resigned, I knew he was in a grim place, so I knew this was coming, but I didn’t expect it to come so soon.

Steve Jobs, Apple co-founder and former CEO, has died at the age of 56. Rest in peace Steve. You had a unique vision, you made unique things, and you’ll be missed.

A lucky shopper from eBay may have gotten a taste every Android users have been drooling over— the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade, said to launch in the next two months.

The fortunate man who ordered a Samsung Nexus S phone over eBay, reportedly discovered that the device looked different than advertised. Upon opening the About screen, the man was shocked to find his device was running Google’s highly-anticipated Android upgrade Ice Cream Sandwich, instead of the current Android flavor. The buyer filmed a two-minute video exploring the phone’s interface and features, and handed it over to Engadget before the phone, he says, was remotely locked and wiped.

There are some new implemented features in Facebook that you might find annoying or intrusive. Anyone experience problems viewing certain websites today? As of September 09, 2011, I have experience certain websites that are either loads very slow or could not be accessed or viewed at all. Trying to figure out if there is a problem with the website I was working on, I ended up testing some of the links using yellowpipe.com and walla!, there is no problem with the website. You could also try different website viewers like anybrowser.com to test if the webpage you are viewing has problems or its just your ISP. Just be sure not to create transactions like logging to your user account or making an online purchase as these tools are not 100% secure.
