Beau Biden, the adult son of Vice President Joe Biden, suffered a mild stroke on Tuesday in Delaware.

Beau Biden, 41, had been admitted to Christiana Hospital in Newark, Del., on Tuesday morning. Later in the day he was transferred to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He would undergo further observation and examination, where he was alert and talking with family.
A mild stroke can happen to young people, and Beau Biden was fortunate to be among people who both recognized that there was a problem and took immediate steps to get him professional health.
Beau Biden is the attorney general for the state of Delaware, a position he has held since 2006. Thoughts and prayers are with the Beau and his family as he recovers.
