Today, June 30, 2010 is the inaugural of President-elect Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III at the Quirino Grandstand, wherein they will not only feature international pop star Charice Pempengco, who will be singing the National Anthem, but also they will present a song specially written for the ceremony by Ogie Alcasid and Noel Cabangon, the inaugural song, “Bagong Pilipinas.”
‘Bagong Pilipinas’ is a collaborative work for the first time between the two singer-songwriters, who had actively campaigned for Aquino. And also for the first time, the song will be sang by all singers like Ogie Alcasid, Noel Cabangon, Jim Paredes, Juana Change, Nina, Christian Bautista, Gary Valenciano, Jed Madela and Regine Velasquez, together with the Symphony Orchestra, 70s Band, the Madrigal Singers and Kundirana as the backed up singers.
The inaugural song ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ reminds me of Bro. Eddie Villanueva’s movement. A movement of hope, change, and progress. Filipinos who believe in God, in our country, and in our future as a people. I just hope when President-elect Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III sworn in as the country’s 15 president, he will lead our nation to recovery and greatness :)

I just watch the Inauguration of President Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Cojuangco Aquino III and Vice President Jejomar ” Jojo” Binay. The Battle of All Filipino is over, for more than nine years Our Country is ruled by the Corrupt Leader under the government of Macapagal- Arroyo Administration . The Filipinos are spoken. Ngayon ang Simula ng Pagbabago. P-Noy and VP-Nay were expecting to keep your promises to us during campaigning period. Let truth prevail. Nasa inyong mga kamay nakasalalay ang kinabukasan ng ating Inang Bayan. Mabuhay Kayo at ang Sambayanang Pilipino.
