What had originally started out as a fun night turned ugly when the former American Idol Star contestant Adam Lambert who just last week announced the official date for the release for his sophomore album ‘trespassing’ was arrested after he got into a heated argument which turned to a fight with is boyfriend Sauli Koskinen.
Lambert who was reportedly spending Christmas with the Finish native Sauli was locked up along with his boyfriend after they both started fighting in the popular gay club DTM ( Don’t tell Mama). Eyewitness reports say that both had started quarrelling from the backroom of the bar and were evicted by management however the fight did not end their so the police were called when the argument took a violent turn out in the streets.
Head investigator into the event for the police Petri Juvonen said that both Lambert and Koskinen where taken in at around 4 am and they may be slapped with four offences of assault.
Sofia Ruusila ex Miss Helsinki had tried to separate the two after they became violent however she was accidentally struck by lambert during this process.
Adam in a twitter release has given his take on the event. “Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :)”
The couple was released from lockup Thursday afternoon and would appear to be on the mend. Sauli in a post on his blog had tried to put event into perspective by blogging “Celebrities are people too and fame is not easy. Love is not always easy either, but it’s forever.”
Its good to see that the love birds are working through this drama !
