I am glad that something as joyous as marriage is something they can still have. Good for Brittany’s affianced for being more open minded and not just pornographic. I’ve done quite a bit of thinking and I still have no clue honestly how they would go about the intimate details of their lives, but obviously they must both like this fellow and decide as one who their mate will be in life… and since they are legally considered two people, then only one of them can marry this guy… that is why only one of them is engaged… maybe I am wrong… but seems reasonable to me. If you cannot see beauty in this, then you must be a terrible person, one without beauty, love or hope, one motivated by base appetites and shallow, illogical opinions. I feel sorry for you, Cornelia, Beatitwithastick (who apparently can only see women as “p*ssy”, anyway –can we all say future rapist or domestic abuser here?), Jennie, and /b/, and all you other louts. If you could read, which I am going to guess is not a part of your daily life in any way, you would know that many conjoined twins (including these girls!) have lived fulfilled lives and have also had families and children. Chang and Eng (if you were educated, you would know them) had twenty-one children. I really feel sorry for you, and how you know that you can never have real love because you judge on the basis of shallow appearances, and so there is nothing deep enough in you for anyone to love. You are like scraps of paper, blowing in the wind, to be discarded, just as you would discard human life. No one will hurt you. You will discard yourself with your own contempt for life and your inability to see the world in its fullness, rather than your selfish, little hate-filled box. It must be terrible to be so full of hate that you wish to kill innocent people. Is this common? Do your families know about your desires for irrational violence against strangers? I hope so, because you need to be put away for common safety.
  This is the result of a shallow, stupid culture that bases worth on the simplest ideas of base attraction. Plato was wrong. There are not Gold, Silver, and Bronze people. Some people are more like rubbish bins, and they are posting here.

  I am very happy for these girls. They are inspiring. They have many friends. They are educated and accomplished, unlike these barely-literate rubes. And Brittany has found love. I’m sorry that the marriages of you shallow sorts pretty much never last, because you have no respect for life, no love, no self-sacrifice, no integrity, no self-control, and are completely repulsive.   I am a twin (not conjoined) my twin brother died in 1972 he drown. to this day I miss him my frist husand died of cancer in 2007 my hussband now is also a tiwn his twin sister almost died of cancer but they seem t get it all (we dont believe it it what thay told me too. he lost his first wift to cancer 3 moths after I lost mine.

  I’ve been interested in twins for a very long time, since my sister had a set. Then when I saw you girls on Oprah, I was fascinated with your mobility and now you are so cooperative with each otoher. It delights me to know that all the challenges you have had have been met with determination and success. You truly are an inspiration to me, as you are to many people.

  I applaud your parents in their choices of allowing you to do whatever you feel you can accomplish and willing to take the risks inherent to raising conjoined twins. As a parent, I ‘ve had the usual struggles with my children. However, I doubt that my challenges were very high as compared to theirs. You are blessed to have them. I’m certain you realize that already, though.

  I wish you continuing happy and successful lives. Somehow I feel confident you will meet the rest of life’s challenges well, too. Please continue your educations, even though you, Brittany, are engaged. It’s difficult to get back to college once you drop out. It took me 22 years to get back (so I know what I’m talking about).

  No. You’re wrong. It’s two completely separate people.Two brains, two hearts, two sets of lungs,etc. The only thing “conjoined” about the twins, if their lower half. They feel and think different things at different times, just like anyone of us, they’ve just learned to work and operate together in order to function properly. I think they ask the question,”What will happen to Abby?”, more in terms of relationship wise;Will she get married?How would it work if she too,wanted to have children?Things of that nature. I think it’s a complicated situation, for sure.but I also think it’s wrong and offensive to say they aren’t two different people.
